TeamAltemus’ mission is to help athletes vet financial advisors, empowering them to make informed, thoughtful, and optimized decisions about their financial futures. The business contacted Defy to help tell that story through a strategic rebrand.
TeamAltemus’ brand had to convey its specific role in the chaotic sports business landscape at a glance, engaging young audiences enough
to learn more.
For narrative, we leaned into their existing tagline, “positive stories only”, to position them as an honest, relatable industry expert. We paired this tone with an authoritative yet approachable design system that used university-style fonts as a prominent design element.
The result was a distinctive and easily understood brand. One that positions TeamAltemus to assist competitors at all levels, and serve as a leader in the space, especially as college athletes begin to explore their rights associated with NIL (name, image, and likeness) compensation.
The team at Defy was amazing and they delivered beautiful work that reflects a deep understanding of our company's mission and offerings.
