LAUNCHING OUR DEFY GIVES BRAND WITH A CREATIVE MISSION LIKE ARTHAUS’ WAS SIMPLY MEANT TO BE.
Germantown ArtHaus is a local non-profit that aims to build a better future for their community through education, exposure to the arts, and professional development.
ArtHaus was in the process of raising funds to complete a building renovation and needed a top-tier brand identity to communicate ArtHaus’ mission to potential donors, enticing them to engage with the organization.
We created a brand system that elevated ArtHaus, helping them attract the attention they deserve from both corporate and individual donors.
We started by developing our creative theme: “building blocks”. This was an homage to the historic Swain building serving as ArtHaus’ HQ, and the renovation it needed, but also the fundamental creative “building blocks” ArtHaus provides members of the surrounding community. This theme was the anchor for everything we created moving forward.
The design was fun, stimulating, and bright. It included building-block-style shapes to further establish our theme, paired with our brand line “Build Artists. Build The Future.”
The response from the client was overwhelmingly positive (there was even some applause in our Zoom call after presenting). This project’s success put ArtHaus in a position to compel donors and community members alike to both contribute to their mission and get involved in
