Hamilton Lane

WE PRODUCED 3 SPOTS FOR A FIRM THAT MANAGES $832.2B IN ASSETS.

OBJECTIVE

Develop three 60-second videos to be shown to a global audience highlighting culture, innovation, and the company at large.

SOLUTION

As with most video projects like this, we began by collecting as much data on Hamilton Lane’s company and employees as possible. We needed to understand their business, their people, and their culture to produce something that let the real Hamilton Lane shine through.

Once we had this down, we collaborated with Hamilton Lane to write a unique script for all three videos highlighting the little, and not so little, ways Hamilton Lane stands apart from the pack.

Simultaneously, we worked on creating a visual direction. We knew it needed to be bold and fresh, but it also needed to feel elevated and informed for the intelligent audience. The direction we landed on found just the right balance to strike a chord with viewers.

We pulled inspiration, created storyboards, and started experimenting with motion graphics – and the direction we landed on felt dynamic, upbeat, and premium.

As the creative was going through approvals, we made shot lists and call sheets, and scheduled our shoot days.

Then we went on a scenic drive along the Schuylkill River to shoot at Hamilton Lane’s beautiful corporate headquarters in Conshohocken. For three days, we shot cinematic b-roll of employees and the building, even putting our drone to work in the winter weather.

Then, it was time to cut, edit, and colorize our footage one video at a time.
