Defy Acquires More Talent – Creative and Account Support
“The incredible talent we continue to onboard this year has our whole team excited,” says Emily Huddell, VP of Brand Development. “We are continuously looking for fresh ideas and new perspectives, and are excited for what Brendan and Reynolds add to the mix.”
“We’re thrilled to continue to grow as a creative team, and feel fortunate to have such strong talent in Brendan and Reynolds to join us.” says Erin Mcknight, Creative Director.
Brendan Russo joined the Defy team as a contract Digital Designer in early 2022 and, much to Defy’s excitement, became a full-time employee in the Spring. Brendan’s skills range from motion graphics to UX/UI design to front end development. After taking on some of Defy’s biggest clients early on in his tenure with the agency, Brendan demonstrated quickly how much of a valued asset he was. Whether it’s web, digital design, or creating a visual system for a billion dollar sub-brand, Brendan’s calm, cool, collected mindset got Defy to the finish line every time. His ability to identify a challenge and determine the solution efficiently has us all on the edge of our seats for what he’ll come up with next.
Defy is thrilled to welcome its newest part-time employee, Reynolds Okyne. Reynolds’ vibrant personality and appetite to learn about the industry are infectious, and will make him an excellent addition to Defy’s accounts team. His experience with client services and social strategy will be utilized in a variety of roles including account management, brand consultation, operations, and production.
